Post-switch verify: poll /run/current-system until expected, or terminal.

previous_basename = Some(p) enables hard-mismatch detection: any third basename -> FlippedToUnexpected immediately. Rollback path leaves it None (no meaningful pre-state). Read errors during polling are non-fatal.
